Party Riots

Party Riots

I read the article this was inspired by, and honestly thought it was wishful thinking.  No, just because the game R(A)GE has an anarchy sign does not mean it has significant politics.  (I played the game.)

Questions:

(1) Is this trend statistically true?  Are party riots increasing?

(2) Is this just some white middle-class phenomenon of excess, which is easily contained, and actually just plays the role of conspicuous consumption?  Or is it an actual threat to the stability of the system?  If not a threat, is it part of the demographic and/or disruption that could assist us in a revolutionary movement/revolutionary situation?

(3) Why does this never happen at parties I go to, and can someone please invite me to the ones where it does?
